Jenina Maria Montgomery, 53, of Radcliff, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 10281 Ladies Auxiliary, where she was a past president and the VFW Auxiliary District No. 4 president. She was treasurer of Ancestral Trails in Elizabethtown and a volunteer for Relay for Life. She graduated from North Hardin High School in 1977. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward L. Montgomery, and her stepfather, James Donaldson.
Survivors include her son, Michael and Angela Meanor of Radcliff; her daughter, Sirena and Jesse Ellis of Germany; her mother, Geneva Donaldson of Radcliff; her sister, Kathy and Mannie Aldecoa of Mississippi; and three grandchildren, Michael Meanor, Isaiah Ellis and Ava Ellis.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Willie Neal officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where there is a VFW Ladies Auxiliary Service at 7 p.m. Monday.
