Joseph Roberts Jr., 82, of Radcliff, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Charlestown, Ind.

He retired from the Fort Knox post office with more than 32 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Roberts Sr. and Vera Ross Roberts; and a brother, Thomas A. Roberts.

He is survived by two brothers, Arnold Roberts of Radcliff and William Roberts of Vine Grove; two sisters, Elizabeth Roslon of Radcliff and Edith Harring of Northport, Fla.; and many, many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service is at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. Herman Gilley officiating.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A committal service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
