Joseph Sterling McQuerry, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Sgt. 1st Class McQuerry, a veteran of the Vietnam War, retired from the U.S. Army. He was a member of Radcliff Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita McQuerry of Elizabethtown; three children and their spouses, Stephen and Myong McQuerry of Korea and Brenda and Wade Ash and David and Alicia McQuerry, all of Elizabethtown; a brother and his wife, David and Laura McQuerry of Burlington; six granddaughters; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
The funeral is at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 1, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Bishop Larry Richardson officiating. Burial follows in Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
