Judy French Brown, 65, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at her home.

Born in LaRue County, she worked 13 years in the Jefferson County Attorney's Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Brown.
Judy is survived by two sons, David K. Sharp and Derrick S. Sharp (Jeanette), all of Louisville; her parents, Eugene and Marjorie French of Hodgenville; two brothers, Gary French (Linda) of Leitchfield and Jerry French (Bonnie) of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Gloria Merrill (Tom) of Louisville and Sharon Friend (Vic) of Hodgenville; seven nieces and nephews; and three stepchildren.
The funeral is at noon Monday, Jan. 7, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville. A graveside service follows with burial at 2 p.m. Monday in Mount Tabor Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Louisville.
