Kenneth McCubbins, 74, of Lebanon Junction, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.

He was a native of Lebanon Junction and was a retired exterminator for The Hershey Company/Delmonico Foods in Louisville. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Lebanon Junction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Bessie McCubbins; and a brother, Tommy McCubbins.
Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Kathleen McCubbins (Carlos Palacios) of Lebanon Junction; two sons, Daniel McCubbins of Cecilia and Curtis M. McCubbins of Cox's Creeks; three sisters, Mary Logsdon of Stephensburg, Betty Burba of Shepherdsville and Shirley Waters of Cecilia; two brothers, Pat McCubbins of Boston, Ky., and James Edward "Bill" McCubbins, both of Shelbyville; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and his ex-wife and friend, Edna LaFollette of Lebanon Junction.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Church of God of Prophecy of Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Jerry Caudill officiating. Burial follows in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Lebanon Junction.
Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction and continues at 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
