Kenny Dairl Vincent, 62, of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018, at University Hospital in Louisville.

He was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Grayson County, the son of the late Bobby Dairl Vincent and Alverda Gray Davis.

He was a farmer, a chuck wagon chef, an amateur archaeologist, an auction fanatic, a treasure hunter, an avid collector of many things, a backroad traveler and a living historian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon McClure Vincent of Leitchfield; two daughters, Rebecca Ricketts (Jordan) of Leitchfield and Anna Pitcock-Vincent (John) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Kathleen, Samuel and Augustus "Gus" Ricketts, all of Leitchfield; five sisters: Patty Bailey of Leitchfield, Alisa Russell (Bill) of Rockledge, Florida, Judy Warner of Lexington, Levetta Blain (David) of Elizabethtown, and Cathy Bentley (Terry) of Taylorsville; three brothers, William Davis of Hodgenville, Scott Vincent (Mindy) of Mount Washington and Steven "Skipper" Vincent (Tabby) of Taylorsville; his stepfather, Richard Davis of Elizabethtown; his stepmother, Jane Vincent of Mount Washington; and many beloved nieces and nephews and close friends.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. CDT Thursday, June 14, at Eveleigh Church on Brandenburg Road in Leitchfield. Brothers Alan Johnson and. Jerry Isaacs officiating. Burial follows in Vincent Family Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. CDT Wednesday at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield and continues at 10 a.m. CDT Thursday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the or the National Stroke Foundation.
