Mary Lavern Warren Skaggs, 79, of Hodgenville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville.

She was a member of Friendship No. 2 Baptist Church in Hodgenville and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Skaggs; a son, Daniel Woodrow Skaggs; her parents, Raymond Louis and Esther Ellen Caulk Warren; a sister, Hazel Mae Warren; and a brother, Thomas Warren.
She is survived by six daughters, Connie (Dennis) Viers, Bonnie Ray, Ann Skaggs, Brenda (Joe) Jeffries, Penny (Todd) Jenkins, and Lisa (Daryl) Pullin, all of Hodgenville; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Skaggs of Big Clifty, 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Dewey Keys Jr. officiating. Burial follows in Friendship No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
