Lelia Neville Brown of Louisville, formerly of Bardstown and Anchorage, died peacefully April 6, 2013, following a brief period of illness. She was 75.

She was the owner of Brown School of Dance and director of Libby Starks Dance Studio.
She attended Anchorage School, Louisville Collegiate School, was a graduate of Fairfax Hall Academy in Waynesboro, Va., and attended Centre College.
Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, Creel Brown Jr. and Lelia Mann Brown; a grandson Kevin Shehan; and her sister, JoAn Brown Schuler.
Survivors include a son, T. Hunter Shehan II (Jana) of Bloomfield; a daughter, Beverly Shehan Richardson (Dwight) of White Mills; a beloved cousin, Creel Brown III of Louisville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at noon Wednesday at Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane in Louisville. Burial follows in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pearson's.
Expressions of sympathy will gratefully be accepted by Hosparus of Central Kentucky and the Master's Meal Ministry of White Mills Baptist Church.
