Leslie William "Bill" Pinkham, 60, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at University Hospital in Louisville.

Born in Jeffersonville, Ind., he was the president of Pinkham Lincoln Automotive in Elizabethtown. Upon graduating high school, he spent three years playing professional baseball for the Cincinnati Reds, St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Wayne Pinkham and Elva Jayne Moore Pinkham Ewigleben.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Alicia Pinkham; sons, Zack Pinkham, Zeke Pinkham and Bill Pinkham II (Becky); daughters, Jana Webb (Jonathan), Jill Dewitt (Chris) and Julie Aulbach (Bob); brothers, Brad Pinkham and Steve Pinkham (Rhonda); and nine grandchildren.

The funeral is at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at Highlands Funeral Home.
