Lillie Mae Kirtley, 92, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Kensington Manor.

She was born March 8, 1920, in Cecilia and was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She retired from Elizabethtown High School as a custodian. She loved to sew, crochet and quilt.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Eldon Kirtley; parents, Joe and Nora Bell Miller Carter; and brother, Jim Carter.
Survivors include three loving children, Barbara Jean Goodin and Betty Jo Henderson, both of Elizabethtown, and Charles Robert (Clyda) Kirtley of Leitchfield; a sister, Lou Ellen (Charles) Kelly of Louisville; a granddaughter, Karen (Matt) Hawkins; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Hunter Hawkins, all of Lexington.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Gibbons officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and continues after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
