Linda Joyce "Hash" McDole, 58, of Vevay, Ind., died at 4:18 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Norton Hospital-Brownsboro in Louisville.

She entered this life on March 20, 1954, in LaRue County as the daughter of Carl and Jane (Allen) Hash. She was raised in Buffalo, where she attended school. She was united in marriage on Dec. 13, 1972, in Vevay, Ind., to James Lewis Stewart, and to that union arrived two sons to bless their home.
She was later united in marriage on Sept. 12, 1986, in Carrollton to David L. McDole. She and David shared more than 24 years of marriage together until his death on April 4, 2011. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, collecting antiques and keeping a meticulous yard and home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Jane (Allen) Hash; her husband, David L. McDole on April 4, 2011; and her brother, James "Bo" Hash.
She will be missed by her two sons, Chris Stewart and his wife, Chrissie, of Quercus Grove, Ind., and Eric Stewart and his fiancée, Donna Taulbee, of Florence, Ind.; her step-son, David Christopher McDole and his companion, Cari, of Cheviot, Ohio; her grandson, Ethan Stewart; her step-granddaughter, Jessica McDole; her brothers, Gordan Hash and his wife, Peggy of Elizabethtown; Alfred "Butch" Hash and his wife, Becky, of Elizabethtown; her sister, Nancy Hilliard, of Columbia, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday with Brother Anthony Wilks at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Ind. 47043.
Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
