Louise Carter, 84, of Mount Sherman, passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a member of God's House in Mount Sherman and was retired from Union Underwear in Campbellsville after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rudolph Warren and Lawton Carter Sr.; her parents, Edward and Beatrice Skaggs Stinnett; a stepson, Earl "Peanut" Carter; a brother, Melvin Ford; and a grandson, Paul Sutherland.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Mickey) Sutherland of Elizabethtown; two sons, Harold Warren of Mount Sherman and Brother Dale (Diane) Warren of Magnolia; a stepdaughter, Peggy (Everett) Allen of Campbellsville; a stepson, Lawton (Alta) Carter Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Ruby (Melvin) Whitlow of Mount Sherman; a special sister-in-law, Christine Deweese of Campbellsville; three grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 27 stepgreat-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. EST Saturday, Jan. 25, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Brother Daniel Perkins officiating. Burial follows in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. EST Friday and continues at 9 a.m. EST Saturday at the funeral home.
