Marvin Robert "Bobby" Wolford, 76, of Magnolia, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a member and deacon of Mount Zion Separate Baptist Church and retired from GE in Louisville after many years of service. Bobby was a very active trustee and volunteer for the Nolynn Association of Separate Baptists Campground and an active member of the LaRue County Relay for Life for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Eugene and Gladys Ewing Wolford, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Wolford; three children, Robert G. (Linda) Wolford of Hodgenville, Shelia (Russell) Cooley of Shepherdsville and Holly (Kenny) Milburn of Magnolia; three sisters, Carolyn Gardner, Frances Sloan and Brenda Johnson; two brothers, Dana Wolford and David Wolford; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Revs. Darren Wolford and Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial follows in the Mt. Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
