Mildred Annette Gillock Kidd, 75, of Linwood, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was a faithful member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a respected member of the Linwood community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Rosa Coffee Gillock; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Carroll Kidd; two daughters, Terry (Eugene) Veirs of Hodgenville and Kathy (Aaron) Gani of Elizabethtown; a son, Jeff (Karole) Kidd of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Fulkerson, Cameron Kidd and Morganne (Sam) Hanna; three great-grandchildren, Austin Burgess, Kirsten Burgess and Maddie Fulkerson; one sister, Maxine (Dale) Skiles; and one brother, Jackie Gillock.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. EDT Friday, July 6, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with the Rev. Darrell Hensley officiating. Burial follows in Timberlake Cemetery.

Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday and continues at 10 a.m. EDT Friday at the funeral home.
