Nancy Brown Bowling, 100, of New Haven, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at her home in New Haven surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 27, 1912, in New Hope to the late Thomas Edward and Lillian Reid Brown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Raphael Bowling; a son, Thomas Brown Bowling; and a granddaughter, Angela Bowling.
Survivors include nine daughters, Sarah Margaret Bowling (William) Collins, Agnes Mary (Fred) Jury, June Carolyn (James) Riggs, Frances Ann (Charles) Worth, Lucille Burch Bowling, Louise Marie Morgan, Mary Elizabeth (Kenny) Johnson, Martha Virginia Flannery, and Nancy Miriam (Jeff) Thompson; one son, Dr. Joseph Raphael Bowling and a daughter-in-law, Janet Bowling; 27 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one sister, Grace Brown Lyon of Loretto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial is at noon Tuesday at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, with the Rev. Troy Overton officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at William R. Rust Funeral Home. Prayer services are at 6 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home.
