Nellie Frances Gilmore, 88, of Rineyville, died Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at her home.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mrs. Gilmore was a member of Longview United Methodist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Gilmore; and a brother, Fred Brown.

She is survived by her husband, Walter C. Gilmore of Rineyville; two sons, Ronald (Mary) Taylor of Louisville and Joseph (Kathleen) Taylor of Guston; a daughter, Kathy (Russell) Cecil of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters and one brother, all of Sanford, N.C.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. Yosvany Pereira officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
