Patricia McQueen Peake, formerly of Elizabethtown, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, in Portland, Maine, after a long illness.

Born in Lancashire, England, near Liverpool, Pat was proud of her British heritage.

She was a valued employee of Joplin-Lanz and Town and Country for many years and a member of the Catholic community of St. James.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Abel Peake; an infant son, Thomas Jerome; and a son-law, Richard Godin.

Left behind to treasure her memory are her son, John Anthony "Tony" Peake (Carole) of Louisville; her daughter, Helen Sue Peake-Godin of South Portland, Maine; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember their Aunt Pat.

A private graveside service will be held this summer at St. John Cemetery.
