Phyllis Woodard Shear, 86, passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Helmwood Healthcare in Elizabethtown.
She was a native of Ohio and a member of Kenwood Baptist Church in Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Shear.
She is survived by one sister, Peggy (Frank) Mack; and one sister-in-law, Wilma Woodard of Cincinnati; one daughter, Paula (Pete) Schubeler of Elizabethtown; two sons, Ken (Debbie) Shear of Cincinnati and Jeff (Sue) Shear of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Lauren Luckett, Dana McCurry, Becky Sights, Stephanie MacDonald, Jackie Tomblin and Andy Shear; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Kenwood Baptist Church, 8341 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236.
Burial follows in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
