Raylon Fern Oller, 74, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, July 8, 2013, at his home.

He was a native of Ohio County and retired as a Sgt. First Class from the U.S. Army after serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Chapter 3 Disabled American Veterans and American Legion Post No. 113.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine Guenther; his parents, Phomas and Cullie Mae Bar-row Oller; and two brothers, Vernon Ray Oller and Danny Ray Oller.

He is survived by a stepson, Ronald Guenther of Germany; two brothers, Larry Oller of Indianapolis and James Neil Oller of Beaver Dam; and three sis-ters, Sharon Luck of Beaver Dam and Anna Sue Oller and Marcella Jane Oller, both of Owensboro.

A DAV service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Burial follows at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to DAV Chapter 3 or DAV Chapter 3 Aux-iliary in Elizabethtown.
