Robert James Mullins, 64, of Elizabethtown passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his residence after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He retired from Vulcan Materials in 2012 after many years.
Robert is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bonnie of Elizabethtown; two sons, Paul J. and Joe Ray Mullins of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Jessica Cook (Kenny) of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Brandon Mullins and Austin Cook of Elizabethtown; a granddaughter, Kaylea Cook, of Elizabethtown; four sisters, Shirley Magnavita of Elizabethtown, Bonnie Louise Taylor (Larry) of Mount Washington, Kathy Johnson (Han-ley) of Hodgenville and Kay Lance (Clark) of Smithville, Tenn.
A graveside service was Thursday, Oct. 11, at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville was in charge of arrangements.
