Robert Lee Beatty, 83, of Linwood, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the retired owner and operator of Beatty Aluminum.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Moore Beatty; a daughter, Christine Beatty (Brent) Shelton of Linwood; a son, Bryan (Karen) Beatty of Louisville; a sister, Edna (Dr. Jack) Booth of Burlington; and six granddaughters, Anita, April, Virginia, Allison, Madeline and Caroline.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at his farm at a later date.
Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia is in charge of the arrangements.
