Robert "Bob" Walton Brown, 74, of Cave City, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Mr. Brown, a retired radiology technician, was employed by Hart County Tourism and volunteered at Munfordville Baptist Church preschool, where he was a member. He also was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was the son of the late W.B. Brown and the late Mattie Lou Parrish Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brown; a son, Scott Brown and wife, Natalie, of Owensboro; two daughters, Amy Loyall and husband, Jeff, of Munfordville and Staci Davis and husband, Scott, of Versailles; four grandchildren, Caitlin and Eric Brown and Faith Ann and Laney Davis; and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Buckles.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. CDT Tuesday, July 8, at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville with Pastor John Smith officiating. Interment follows in Hiseville Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT Monday and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Munfordville Baptist Church pre-school program. Donations can be left at the funeral home.
