Roy Garland Miller, 92, a lifelong resident of Hardin County, died at his residence in Rineyville on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends.

He was a member of Fair Farm Baptist Church and retired from Robert Struck and Son in Louisville. He was a World War II Army veteran and a 60-year member of Labor's Union No. 576. He also was a lifelong farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Goodman Miller; three sons, James, Larry and Roger Miller; one daughter-in-law, Karen Miller; two sons-in-law, William Sheroan and Wayne Blanton; his mother and father, Junie and Mattie Miller; one sister, Elizabeth Rodgers; and three brothers, William, Stanley and Guy Miller.

He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Blanton, Betty (Corey) Evans and Debbie (Sidney) Clemons; three sons, Gene (Sherry) Miller, Billy (Maryann) Miller and Eddie (Miranda) Miller; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Kenny Merritt officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
