Ruby Ward Hatfield, 92, Upton, passed away Thursday June 21, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
"She was a great mom, a good cook and a 'great' grandmother to everybody."
She was a member of Upton United Methodist Church and Upton Homemakers.
She was proceed in death by her husband, Willie "Dude" Hatfield, and her parents, Dave and Ella Man-ion Ward.
She is survived by a daughter, Naomi (Tommy) Rosel of Upton; two sons, Harry Hatfield of Elizabeth-town and Donald Clifton (Barbara) Hatfield of Upton; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton with the Rev. Becky Loy officiating. Burial follows in Upton Cemetery.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
