Shelby Grant Witten, 68, of Big Clifty, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 21, 1943, and was retired from Alcatel as a forklift driver. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Witten; his parents, Charles Alvey and Mary Eunice Williams Witten; and a brother, Charles Witten.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean Witten of Big Clifty; one daughter, Jeannette Ballard of Clarkson; three sons, Timothy Witten of Summit and Charles Michael Witten and Richard Witten, both of Big Clifty; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. CDT Monday, June 25, at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Steve Hohman officiating. Burial follows at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. CDT Sunday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson with a prayer service at 6 p.m. CDT.
