Steven Ray LeMaster, 69, of Radcliff, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville with his family by his side.

Sgt. 1st Class LeMaster was retired from the U.S. Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a combat medic. His memberships include American Legion Post No. 113 in Elizabethtown and Patriot Guard Rider. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a deputy jailer for 20 years.

He was preceded in death his parents, Mervin and Elizabeth LeMaster; and a brother, Michael LeMaster.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, S. Dianne LeMaster of Radcliff; three children, Shala LeMaster and Ashley LeMaster, both of Elizabethtown, and Tracee Nunn of Indiana; three grandchildren, Lauren Barney, Amiyah LeMaster and Brantley Noe; four siblings, Linda Coyle, Jack LeMaster, Deborah McComis and Alan LeMaster; and a host of family and friends.

The funeral for retired Sgt. 1st Class LeMaster is at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. A graveside service with military honors is at 1:30 p.m Monday, June 11, in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff. The funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 1:10 p.m.

Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
