Susan M. Croft, 53, of Rineyville, went to her heavenly home Thursday, April 25, 2013.

A graduate of both Lorain Community College in Lorain, Ohio and the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, Susan cherished her life as a believer in God, loving military wife, mother, professional caterer and child care provider. Her strong Christian values allowed her to be the absolute best in each of these positions as she left a positive and unforgettable impact on everyone with whom she crossed paths.

She was preceded in her home going by a son, Ricardo A. Croft I; and her loving parents, Charles and Rosa May Mathis.

She is now the guardian angel of her family which includes her husband, Robert M. Croft of Rineyville; three sons and their wives, Robert M. (Dawn F.) Croft Jr. of Louisville, Charles L. (Celeste) Croft of Huntsville, Ala., and Ricardo A. (Catherine) Croft of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Roshanta D. Mathis of Saginaw, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Ayden E. Croft, Isaiah Mathis and
Emerson T. Croft.

A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.

Per Susan's request, any donations can be made in the form of feeding someone who is hungry and loving someone who needs to be loved.
