Verna Louise Martin, 101, of Cloverport, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation.
She was a native of Breckinridge County, a member of Cloverport United Methodist Church and a beautician.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Thomas and Alma Lee Coffman Martin; two brothers, Finis Martin and Percy Martin; and three sisters, Vada Lucille Whitler, Lila Pearson and Lera Wilson.
She is survived by one sister, Loretta Sawyer of Lancaster, Pa.
There is a graveside service at noon EST Friday at Whitler Family Cemetery in Cloverport.
Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
