Vivian Martin Whitmore, 71, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012.
She was a native of Hardin County and was the retired office manager for Hall Security in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Whitmore; and her parents, Gus and Mayme Oliver Martin.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Whitmore (Brian) Smith of Rineyville; two sons, Eric Edward (Carrie) Whitmore of Evergreen Park, Ill., and David Matthew Whitmore of Louisville; one brother, Lloyd Martin of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Carolyn Tamas of Louisville; and seven grandchildren, Rachel, Zachary, Abbi, Weslea, Jenna, Noah and Hannah.
A memorial service is at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Charlie Hatfield officiating.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
