Walter Lewis McDaniel, 58, of Hodgenville, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was a member of True Way Ministry Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Young McDaniel; and a brother, Reggie McDaniel.
He is survived by one son, Jacob McDaniel of New Haven; his father, Claud McDaniel of Glendale; one sister, Marlene (William) Goodman of Upton; four brothers, Danny (Marsha) McDaniel of Hodgenville, Greg McDaniel of Big Cliffty, Kevin (Sharon) McDaniel of Glendale and Mike (Patty) McDaniel of Louisville; and his girlfriend, Kathy Reed of New Haven.
The funeral is at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Randy Buckles officiating.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, and continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
