Marion Kenneth Stewart, 86, Stephensburg, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at his home.

He was a native of Stephensburg, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of College Heights United Methodist Church.

He retired from the Cecilia Post Office after working as a letter carrier and Postmaster for more than 30 years. He was a member of Stephensburg Masonic Lodge No. 212 F & AM and was an avid fisherman, University of Kentucky fan and enjoyed doing yard work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mabel Jeffries Stewart; a brother, Charles Stewart; and a sister, Jane Hart.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Quiggins Stewart; a daughter and her husband, Pam and Roger Huter of Louisville, and a granddaughter and her husband, Anne Stewart and Dane Little of Jeffersonville, Ind.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014, at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Adam Sparks officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and continues after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
