Hollis Eugene Hodges, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at his residence.

He was retired from General Electric with several years of service. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Lee and Mary Elizabeth Durrett Hodges; and his uncle, Oswald Hodges.
Survivors include his wife, Marnie Ballard Hodges of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Renaulta (Brian) Newton of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Sheila (Phillip) Thompson and Linda (Harlen) Warren, both of Hodgenville, and Barbara (James) Baumgardner of Franklin, Indiana; one aunt, Geraldine Nichols, of Hodgenville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with the Rev. Mike Aldridge and the Rev. Don Kennedy officiating. Burial follows in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
