Gerald William Aldrich, 75 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

He was a native of Elyria, Ohio and was a Quality Assurance Manager for Union Carbide Corp. and Dow Chemical. He was a member of the East Town­send Masonic Lodge No. 322 of Ohio and Shriner at Zanobia Temple and was an honorary member of the
Warren G. Harding Lodge No. 260 in Washington state.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles B. Aldrich and Evelyn Starkey Aldrich and a son, Brian Michael Aldrich.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Brenda Aldrich; three sons, Mark Aldrich, Robert Aldrich and Michael Aldrich; a daughter, Colleen Kershaw; two step daughters, Stephanie Ford and Tonya Chandler; two brothers, Ronald Aldrich and Dave Aldrich; eleven grandchildren, Garrett Aldrich, Jillian Aldrich, Brycen Aldrich, Elizabeth Blackmon, Steven Kershaw, Gavin Kershaw, Jordan Ford, Ash­ley Ford, Hunter Chandler, Madison Chandler and Sarah Chandler and three great grandchildren, Sloan Blackmon, Melody Kershaw and Harper Aldrich.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
