Robert Lewis Jenkins, 74, of Radcliff, died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at his home.

He was born March 21, 1940, in Estill.
He proudly served almost 30 years in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart for service in Vietnam.
He was a dedicated soldier, father and husband who was happiest at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Thelma Jenkins; and several siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Margarete Jenkins; two daughters, Diana (Todd) Overton and Ramona (Jim) Barrow; three grandchildren,
Kristopher, Brooke, and James; five siblings, Rosetta, Rushie, Ernestine, Geraldine and William; and several nieces and nephews.
The committal service was held Thursday, June 26 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
