Larry D. Singleton Jr., 46, of Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, at his residence.

Larry was a facility engineering supervisor for Kroger, an avid fisherman and loved riding his RZR.
His positive attitude and strength through his long battle with cancer allowed him to live his life to the fullest.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Singleton Sr.; a sister, Sheila Singleton; his mother and father-in-law, Alma and Carl Mattingly; and his grandfather, Roy Lee Humphrey.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Karen Singleton of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Brittany (Zach) Faulkner and Sarah Singleton, both of Elizabethtown; his mother, Sue Singleton of Brandenburg; two brothers, Robert (Shannon) Singleton and Scotty (Susan) Singleton, all of Brandenburg; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Matthew Faulkner; and his grandmother, Nancy Humphrey of Battletown.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg. Burial follows in Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
