Darrell W. Yerian, 60, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, due to complications from a lifelong illness, Frederichs Ataxia.

Darrell was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Champion Aerie 397. He loved to fish, travel and go to bluegrass festivals with his best friend, Lane Martin. He will be sadly missed by Pam Haddix, his caregiver and friend, plus many other friends and family members.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Denver Yerian.
He is survived by his mother, Hattie Yerian, currently residing at Eaglewood Nursing Home in Springfield; and two brothers, Michael and his wife, Dorothy, and Terri Yerian, all of Pennsylvania.
The funeral is at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home in Springfield.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
There will be food and refreshments following the services at Pam Haddix's residence.
