Ardith Annette Bailey, 86, of Elizabethtown, for-merly of Radcliff, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

She was retired from civil service at Fort Knox. She was a member of Radcliff Methodist Church and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and was a American Red Cross Volunteer for many years. She also was a member of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mildred Schindel; and two sisters, Carmen Rindt and Charlene Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Bailey of Elizabethtown; a brother, Meryl Schindel (Leta) of Wheaton, Md.; two special friends, Minnie and Earl Wood; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Nel-son-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with the Rev. John Vaught officiating. Burial follows in Ken-tucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and continues at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
