Norman D. Rafferty, 56, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at Ryan Home Hospice in Phoenix, after a long illness.

A 1975 graduate of Elizabethtown High School, he was an architect trained at the Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin School of Architecture and licensed in Arizona and Nevada.
Norm was preceded in death by his father, David M. Rafferty.
He is survived by his mother, Maggie, and brother, Stephen, both of Elizabethtown; a brother, James, and his wife, Pam, of Paducah; a sister, Phyllis, and her husband, Brian Marbach, of Thousand Oaks, Calif. Norman's nieces and nephews are Linda "Rainey" Cortes, her husband, Carlos, and daughter, Lili, of Coral Springs, Fla., and Tyler Marbach and Christy Marbach of Thousand Oaks.
A celebration of life is at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, in the chapel of his mother's residence at Allegro Senior Living facility in Elizabethtown.
