Paul Kenneth "Todd" Self, 85, of Hodgenville, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a member of Union Christian Church and a Sunrise Manor Volunteer. A Navy veteran of World War II, he retired from Houchen's as the meat department manager after 40 years of service.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Self; his parents, Clint and Nema Metcalf Self; and two brothers, Melvin and James Self.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, LaDean Mather Self; two sons, John Self and Glenn Sigl, both of Miami Beach, Fla.; one sister, Elizabeth Bishop of Hodgenville; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Revs. Steve Campbell and Sid Lewis officiating. Burial follows in Union Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
