Wesley Mink Obituary
He was a native of Hardin County and attended Valley Creek Baptist Church. He was the co-founder of Mink Bros Farms, Mink Trucking and Mink Bros Quarry.
He was a great dad and excited about becoming a papaw. He was a wonderful husband and an honest and hard working man.
He was preceded in death by a child, Angel Mink.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Elaine Marie Bowles Mink; two sons, Steve Chandler Mink (Autumn Bryan) and Brad Wesley Mink, all of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Tiffany Marie Lucas (Davin) of Rineyville and Mattie Lee Mink of Elizabethtown; his parents, Harvey and Mary Ellen Mink of Elizabethtown; a brother, Roger Mink (Patsy) of Elizabethtown; a sister, Jenny (Robbie) Walters of Elizabethtown; and several loved nieces and nephews.
The funeral is at 2 p.m. Friday at Valley Creek Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with the Revs. Scott Kerr, Steve Hill and Leroy Routt officiating. Burial follows in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m.Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the donor's favorite charity in honor of Leon Mink.

We heard so many great stories about Leon from Bill and Carol Estabrooks, that we were excited to finally meet him, his parents and all the kids last year.
We will forever remember the gator tour of the farm, the private quarry tour and all your and Leon's generosity.
Leon definitely touched many people and will be deeply missed. He blessed us all with so many fond memories. May he rest in peace.

My Dad, Harold Nunn, thought so highly of Roger and Leon Mink. It meant so much to us that both could be pallbearers for his funeral.
