Funeral services for Bennie H. Russell, 93 of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Butch Pilcher will officiate. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Russell was born February 27, 1919 and passed away January 21, 2013. He worked at State Farm Insurance as a machinist until he retired and spent four years in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Russell was loved by his family and friends and will be missed.

He is survived by his children; Alicia G. Moore and husband Jim, Larry Wayne Russell and wife Debbie and Paula E. Anderson and husband R.G; 5 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's or the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
