LaVerne Moore Graveside services for LaVerne Moore, 90, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Moore died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Avalon Place. She retired form CenturyLink and was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was an avid lover of outdoors, loved to garden, loved her family, and loved to visit with her friends. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Moore; parents, Gussie and Evert Campbell; sisters, Mildred Marshall and Rose Fasi; and brother, Emmett Campbell. Survivors include her son, Gary Crow and wife Brigitte of Monroe; daughter, Jan Albritton and husband Joe of Monroe; brothers, James Campbell of Baton Rouge and G.W. Campbell of West Monroe; sister Sylvia Baker and husband Billy of Bryant, TX; grandchildren, Kim Miller and husband David of Dallas, TX; Steve Crow and wife Chanah of West Monroe, Lance Albritton and wife Vickie of Wentzville, MO, Jason Crow and wife Caitlin of Monroe; and great grandchildren, Lauren and Logan Miller of Dallas, TX, Anna Grace and Adam Albritton of Wentzville, MO, Kereston Crow of West Monroe, and Collin and Cason Crow of Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, April 14, 2014 at the funeral home. Jean Hern Motherspaugh Funeral services for Jean Hern Motherspaugh, 82, of West Monroe, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 15, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Keith Roberts and Will Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Mrs. Motherspaugh was born on August 27, 1931 in Shelton, LA., and passed away on April 12, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Motherspaugh loved her God and her family. She was a member of the Bawcomville Church of Christ. Mrs. Motherspaugh was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who truly loved her family. She loved animals especially dogs and birds. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, John H. Motherspaugh; children, Jerry Wayne Motherspaugh and wife Bobbie Jo, Jeannie Lynn Tilbury and husband Lloyd, James Allen Motherspaugh, and Judy Ann Younse and husband Tommy; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Clyde Hern, Jr, and wife Eula; sister, Christine Wise. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Tilbury, Tommy Younse, Caleb Younse, James Robert Motherspaugh, Joshua Younse and Billy Mayo Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Delbert L. Moyer Graveside services for Delbert L. Moyer, 73, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roger Stoffer and Rev. Ronnie Wyrick officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. Moyer died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Mr. Moyer served in the U.S. Navy during the Cold War. He was a member of American Legion Post 13, was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Moyer was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Anna Moyer. Survivors include his wife, Freddie Louise Moyer; daughters, Robin Musike and husband Tim, Melissa Roth and husband Mike; brother, Ross Moyer and wife Sue; sister, Sara Leibensperger; step-daughter Connie Walker and husband Ricky; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Greg Peters, Ricky Walker, J.R. Robinson, Nathan Rice, Anthony Deal, and Danny Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Marchand and the members of Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of St. Francis Medical Center for all their support and kindness as well as a very special thanks to Al Marchand, a longtime friend.
