Theola Taylor Graveside service for Theola Joyce Taylor will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Meridian Cemetery in Marion, LA with Bro. David Willoughby officiating. There will be a procession leaving from Kilpatrick Funeral Home at 10:00 AM on Tuesday going to the cemetery. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Taylor was born on June 30, 1932 in Strong, AR and passed away on April 9, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, SFC Marion Taylor, USA (Ret.), her parents, John P. Nelson and Clara Nelson, two brothers, Roy and Patrick Nelson and a daughter, Tina Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Heikkila and her husband, Alex; 3 grandchildren, Maddie and Loralie Heikkila and Josh Shannon; 2 sisters, Patsy Snell and Diane Herndon; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, April 13, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Tillman, Edward Harold  
Edward Harold Tillman Funeral Services for Edward Harold Tillman, 93, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Eddy Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in the Kny Family Cemetery near Dunn, LA. Mr. Tillman was born on November 11, 1921 and passed away at the Northeast Louisiana War Veterans Home on April 15, 2015. He was a member of Peniel Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Tillman was an original member of the St. Louis Browns Baseball Knot Hole Gang. He served in the U.S. Army's 269th Battalion as Private First Class and he was also a 33rd Degree Mason. Mr. Tillman is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Kny and Edgar Alexander Tillman; his wife, Etta Douglas Tillman; son, Cary Kny Tillman; and his granddaughter, Danni Tillman Pitre. Survivors include his sister, Laura Endsly; grandson, Dustin Tillman; great granddaughters, Brittney Tillman, Samantha Jones, Jordan Crozier, Madison Atkins, and Paige Ross; great-great grandchildren, Chase Jones, Ryan Atkins, Kinzley Crozier, and Shyanne Jones. Pallbearers will be Donald Clark, Eric Greer, Darren Dycus, Todd Pitre, Harley Guynes, and John E. Smith. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Trainer, John "Johnny"  
John "Johnny" Trainer A service to celebrate the life of John "Johnny" Trainer, 54, will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Dr. Bill Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Johnny was born on December 6, 1960 in Twin Falls, Idaho and went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 14, 2015 in Monroe, LA. He was a devoted husband, father, papaw, brother, uncle and friend to many. His favorite pastime was spending quality time with family and friends. He was an independent distributor for Borden Milk Company for 25+ years. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Betty Trainer. Left to cherish his memories are his best friend and loving wife of 35 years, Denise; son and daughter-in-law, John and Ashley Trainer; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Kayne Jeselink; seven grandchildren who were the light of his world. Dillian, JT, Mackenzie, Mickayla, Khristian, Jacob and Corbin; two brothers, Tommy Joe and Rachel Trainer, Rickey and Robin Trainer; five sisters, Lynn and Tony Naquin, Debbie and David Hunter, Peggy and Robert Lindsay, Virginia and Mario Garcia, Carolyn and fiancé Michael Fleming; numerous nieces and nephews; best buddy, Jerry Shows and "adopted family" Scott Marionneaux, Josh Parks, Jay Simpson and Randy Welch; along with many family and friends. Pallbearers will be Josh Parks, Jay Simpson, Randy Welch, Scott Marionneaux, S.J. Fontana and Cory Hough. Visitation will be held Friday, April 17th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
