Services for Ardes Clarence Lambert, 95 of Rayville will be 10:00AM Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Mulhearn chapel with Rev. Roger Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Greer Cemetery near Rayville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.

Mr. Lambert was born September 27, 1918 in Colfax, LA to Zeb Pindelton and Tenny Pearl Moses Lambert and passed from this life on June 9, 2014 at hid home. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, paper mill worker, and a World War II veteran where he was awarded the bronze star medal and numerous awards for his service.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years-Sara Catherine Lambert of Rayville; a daughter- Cathie Reyna of Bastrop, LA; 2 sons-William Lambert of Tenn. and Wayne Lambert of Bastrop, LA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister-Vera Mae Cavert; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be all other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 5:00 till 8:00PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.
