Edwin A. Rusk

Mr. Edwin A. Rusk, age 87, passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Jan. 31, 2014, where he resided for many years. Mr. Rusk was born May 11, 1926 in Naples, La. Mr. Rusk was a US Navy veteran and served in the Aleutian Islands during World War II.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Christine Ashley Rusk; a son, David Rusk; a brother, Tom Rusk and a sister, Grace Rusk Miller.

He is survived by two brothers, Elton and Henry Rusk, both of Baton Rouge, La. and a sister, Wanda Rusk Gross, of Denham Springs, La., two sons, Daniel Rusk of Folsom, CA., and Donald Rusk, of Rio Rancho, NM., three daughters, Susan Rusk of Gulfport, MS. Ruth Rusk and Sandra Rusk Littleton, both of Rayville, La. Mr. Rusk is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by a very special lady, Judy Cintron, who has been his life partner for 7 years and to whom the family is forever grateful.

His ashes were laid to rest in Sante Fe, New Mexico National Cemetery in Sante Fe, NM.
