Services for Lloyd Addison Nance, 90 of Rayville will held at 10:00AM Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Rayville First Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Wren officiating. Interment will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home-Rayville.

Mr. Nance was born on June 22, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant, TX and passed away November 11, 2013 at the Northeast War Veterans Home in Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Rayville First Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corp serving in the Pacific Theater, and retired from Rayville Gin Supply. He loved to work in his yard, had a love for swimming and a special place in his heart for God's creatures.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years-Betty Jean Graham Nance and parents-Walter and Myrtle Nance.

He is survived by a daughter-Debra Nance and husband Lee Terry Williams of Rayville; a granddaughter- Dr. Candace Lawerence Zeringue and husband Matthew of Metarie, LA; a grandson- Stephen Michael Nance and wife Callie of Baton Rouge, LA; 2 great grandchildren-Kelsey and Addison Nance of Baton Rouge, LA; a sister-Anna Mae Dees of Rayville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jim Adams, Barry Collins, Carlton Clark, Fred Lambert, Todd Morris, and Grover Burgess. Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday school class at the Rayville First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Rayville First Baptist church and Legacy Hospice.
