Funeral services for Lorell Graham, 85 of Mangham, LA will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Mangham Baptist Church, Mangham, LA with Rev. Rick Aultman and Rev. Robert Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

Lorell was born April 10, 1928 in Mangham, LA and passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 in Rayville, LA.

Mr. Lorell is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Graham; parents, Q.B. and Ebbie Graham; and his grandson, Stacey Graham.

Mr. Lorell started in the late 50's working with the Dallas Police Department and was the Police Chief of Mangham for 10 years. He then served Richland Parish as the Sheriff for 16 years and retired in the year 2000 from the Sheriff's office. He enjoyed fishing and all of Mangham's sports, including Mangham Dixie Youth Baseball, where he was a past president. He was a member of the W.M. Baker Masonic Lodge #388, F. &A.M. in Mangham.

Survivors include his children, Beverly Cupp and husband, Donald of Mangham, Lennie Graham of Mangham, and Jerry Lynn Graham and wife, Erica of Mangham; 11-grandchildren and 9-great grandchildren; brothers, Quincy Graham and wife, Dortha of Mineola, TX and Carroll Graham of Mineola, TX.

Pallbearers are Travis Stephenson, Troy Dennard, Randy Swain, Perry Fleming, Frank B. Jones, Jr. and Charles McDonald.

Honorary pallbearers are the former deputies of the Richland Parish Sheriff's Office who served from July 1984 - June 30, 2012 under Sheriff Lorell Graham and Sheriff Charles McDonald's administration.

Visitation will start at 5:00 PM, Tuesday at the Mangham Baptist Church.
