Funeral Services for Otis Elton Davis, Jr., 69, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Donald Franklin officiating. Interment to follow at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe.

Mr. Davis was born April 27, 1943 and died October 10, 2012. He was retired from Riverwood International, was co-owner of Aging Care Home Health and served in the Army National Guard. He was attending First Assembly of God in West Monroe and Center Point Baptist Church in West Monroe. Otis was a member of Buckshot Hunting Club; he loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed being in his garden, and was especially known for his beautiful Sunflowers.

Survivors: wife, Mrs. Janice T. Davis; Son, Thomas W. Davis and wife, Maryanne; Grandchildren, Hunter Christian and Hailey Christina Davis; Sister, Sylvia Fay Miller and husband, Bo; Brothers, Robert Davis and wife, Sue and Aaron Davis and wife, Gail; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Danny Black, Terry Hattaway, Eric Cousans, Neal Thomason, James Wheeless, and Brian Herrington.

Honorary Pallbearer will be David Golson.

Visitation will be will be from 4:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
