Funeral Services for Mr. Ronald A. Moore of Monroe La will be Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Swartz. Brother Jeff Smart and Brother Johnny Hankins will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park on Highway 80 East in Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe.

Mr. Moore was born on August 26, 1933 in Monroe and passed away on November 2, 2012 in Monroe. He was a retired self employed mechanical contractor, a former postal worker, a Korean War veteran, a Gideon in the Monroe Camp and became a deacon at Highland Park Baptist Church in 1997.

He was preceded in death by parents Carl T Moore and Nelwyn Norris; brother Benny Norris Jr; sister Gloria Parks; and grandchildren Ian Moore and Jessica Moore.

He is survived by his wife Frances B. Moore; brother Lawson Moore and wife Gloria; sons Nathan Moore and wife Sandy, and "Buddy" Moore and wife Patty; daughter Terri Tyson and husband Scott; grandchildren Megan Broussard, Josh Moore, Samantha Peet, Shannon Harlow, D.J. Moore and 15 great grandchildren. He leaves these family members behind to carry on the values of God and family that he instilled in all he touched.

Pallbearers will be Glen Nutzman, Richard Paulus, Mark Leath, Steve Rugg, Josh Moore & D J Moore. Honarary Pallbearers will be Bob Hitt's Sunday School Class.
