Funeral services for Bobby Gene Taylor, 75 of Mangham, LA will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Buford Brady and Rev. Prentis Gandy officiating. Interment will follow at Baskin Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial.

Bobby Taylor was born on March 14, 1936 in Crowville, Louisiana and passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville. He was a resident of Mangham, a sign and traffic superintendent for the State of Louisiana and a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Lee and Emma Odell (Pierce) Taylor; 3 sisters, Evelyn Alexander, Maudie Jolly, and Willie Mae Cobb; grandson, Josh Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Stella Ruth (Aaron) Taylor of Mangham, LA; 4 daughters, Pam Lord and husband David of Baskin, LA; Robyn Jordan and husband Paul of Baskin, LA; Brandy Taylor of Winnsboro, LA; and Terry Humphries and husband Jerry Wayne of Baskin, LA; 2 brothers, J. L. Taylor and wife Janice of Baskin, LA; special brother, Robert Aaron of Bay Springs, MS; special sister, Martha Kelley and husband Thomas of Laurel, MS; 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews, family and friends.

The Pallbearers will be David Lord, Hunter Jordan, James Taylor, Justin Lord, Kit Bryan and Paul Jordan.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be Colton Jordan, David Aaron, Earl Aaron and Eric Benson.

The family will receive friends at Friendship Baptist Church beginning at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2012.
